Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Alex Cesar attended the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated in 1995 with a B.S. in Business Administration. Prior to working at Eychner Associates, Mr. Cesar worked with Southwestern Company in Dallas, TX as a Sales Manager.

In 1999, he joined the Eychner team to expand the firm’s international real estate investment market. Mr. Cesar is also a principal at Sigma Imoveis/ Property Management Company in Brazil, which he has used as a platform to identify and develop new business opportunities for our company in Brazil and Latin America.

During his tenure Mr. Cesar has represented an array of entrepreneurial owners, retailers, developers and investors in Brazil and the United States. Currently, Mr. Cesar is engaged with a number of prominent retail tenants expanding into the North American markets. Some of the companies that he represents are Osklen fashions, Jack Vartanian jewelry, Iodice clothing, Artefacto furniture, Fogo de Chao, Porcao, Spoleto foods, Barbacoa restaurants and Di Pollini/Pompeu Bellusci shoes and leather goods. He is responsible for advising, searching, and negotiating for retail spaces throughout the USA and Canada.

Mr. Cesar’s extensive network of professional contacts allows him to assist clients with leasing and sales and investments of properties all over the Americas. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, English and competent in Italian, Mr. Cesar is a member of the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC), International Federation of Real Estate (FIABCI), Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce in New York.
