Lars Klingstedt helps clients by design—he has years of training and experience in both interior and fashion design. Along with his real estate experience, this gives him the ability to discover and discuss each client’s needs and tastes to find the perfect residence.

After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Lars worked for many years as a commercial and residential interior designer throughout the country. He has helped many homeowners from minor redecorating to major home reconstruction. Along with his residential design background, he has designed several business storefronts and commercial plants in El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico.

Capitalizing on his design skills, Lars decided to focus on apparel design and shortly began his own line of young men’s denim, “Lars Jeans.” Subsequently, he was offered a position with the Polo Jeans Company in New York. He eagerly accepted and became the Head Men’s Designer. After working in the apparel business for more than 15 years, for many top-tier brands, Lars decided he wanted to pursue his love of Manhattan real estate. He comes to FENWICK KEATS armed not only with his extensive residential design background, but also with a determination to provide the highest quality real estate experience for every client he works with.

Lars’ clients find he helps in what can be a stressful experience of selling or buying a home because he becomes a trustworthy ally who is knowledgeable of market trends.
