Robb is a licensed real estate broker in three states and a licensed General Contractor in New York. He holds multiple certificates in Green Architecture, Property Development, and Foreclosure Purchasing Procedures from New York University and The New York Real Estate Institute. He has been involved in real estate for 25 years. His mother was a broker, and his father was a builder. So, he grew up in a real estate household. Robb’s focus and experience are real estate development from conception to completion, including residential, commercial, and multi-use properties. In 1985, he obtained a Business Management Degree and his first Real Estate License in Virginia. From 1986 to 1990, he studied marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University while buying properties and leasing his apartments to students as Pair Properties, LLC. During his time studying marketing at VCU, Robb created Avail Marketing Concepts, which grew into a multi-million dollar promotional marketing business. He was featured in multiple industry magazines, including the cover of The Counselor magazine and their “Top 40 under 40” marketing professionals. In 2000, he sold his marketing company to focus his energies on developing properties in Harlem full-time. Robb’s first-hand experience and affiliations include: (1) Acquisition and selling of property using owner/private financing and land sales contracts, (2) designing, creating, and altering structural elements of properties to obtain the highest and best use, (3) changing the legal usage of properties through architectural and zoning board channels, (4) capitalizing on local, historic, state, and federal tax credit programs, (5) working with community boards, landmark committees, and zoning boards, (6) working directly with city agencies including: The Department of Buildings, The Department of Finance, The Department of Housing Preservation and Development, Landmarks, Zoning, etc., and (7) first-hand experience in creating comparative market and valuation analyses of properties and using accelerated tax depreciation through cost segregation programs. Robb is also a member of The Real Estate Board of New York, The National Association of REALTORS, The Mt. Morris Historic Committee, and The Outer Banks Association of REALTORS. Robb’s office and home are located in Harlem, where he lives with his wife, Nidhi, and their 3 sons; Nikhil, Jet and Axel.
