Our company President, Joe Lops was the overall top producing broker in 2000 and 2001 for one of NYC'S largest brokerage firms, and then promoted to Managing Director for the firms Upper West Side office. Joe's overall success running that Westside office led to the company's expansion to another strategically located Upper West Side office which added another 45 brokers for which Joe mentored and trained. Joe started his real estate career while in his previous profession, the wine business. As a wine importer and owner/operator of five retail wine stores in New York, Joe bought his first building. He quickly acquired two other properties, which grew his taste for the business. Joe is a graduate of Boston University where he majored in Political Science / International Relations, as well as minored in business administration. After his under-graduate studies, Joe attended Whittier College School of Law where he studied business law. Joe is Broker "A" member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). He is also one of the few U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) broker members, an organization whose primary focus is to govern Eco-friendly development. He is also very active in the Yorkville Youth Athletic Assoc. (YYAA) where he coaches basketball, baseball and football for his two sons, with whom he resides on the Upper East Side.
