A native New Yorker, Adam Schmidt was born and raised on the North Shore of Long Island in Manhasset. Adam's family has been entrenched in New York real estate for decades, and he couldn’t help but be exposed to this ever evolving industry at a young age. His interest and curiosity for the industry grew throughout the years, setting him up to begin his career in real estate as soon as he received his college diploma. He graduated Cum Laude from Sewanee: The University of The South in 2015, where he studied History and was a 4 year NCAA Varsity Baseball player. Immediately following his graduation, he dove into the behemoth that is the New York real estate Industry. He began his career as a lowly intern and the youngest agent in the entire company at the prestigious Brown Harris Stevens. Adam’s drive to succeed helped him to quickly shoot up through the ranks, working with 2 of the city’s highest producing agents, Edward Johnston III and Martha Kramer. Through two and a half years, he was directly involved with upwards of 50 transactions of all varieties dealing with buyers, sellers, renter, and landlords. In this short time, Adam was able to gain a unique and thorough understanding of the real estate industry. It is this knowledge combined with his wide range of advanced skills in marketing, technology, communications and networking, as well as the drive to blaze his own path in the industry that brought him to Nest Seekers. Working closely with SVP and Managing Director Ravi Gulivindala, he plays an integral part in recruiting, training new agents, and managing the 5th Avenue office with over 100 agents. Adam’s professionalism and work ethic are unparalleled, but what really sets him apart is his compassion and understanding of his clients, and also his leadership skills in assisting other agents. Adam applies his sports and team focused personality to all of his work, and takes pride in being part of something much larger than himself.
