Howard's expertise spans over 35 years with Mall Properties, Inc. for which he was directly responsible for both leasing and the direction of leasing representatives for over thirty five million square feet of retail properties located in New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Virginia, Georgia and Montana. In addition to his leasing responsibilities he was in charge of the day-to-day operations of over two million five hundred thousand square feet, which included overseeing the property managers and contractors, preparing and implementing budgets, maintaining tenant relationships, and marketing the retail properties. In addition he was responsible for directing the development and redevelopment of over two million square feet of retail properties, which included the creation of new value in three distressed properties involving the placement of special obligation bonds with no guaranty and interfacing with key city leaders including mayors, city managers, economic development directors and various other city department heads.
