Michael is the principal broker of NYC Property Expo, Inc. and has expertise in assisting foreign buyers purchase, manage and sell property in New York City.
Mr. Collesano is a real estate broker and admitted to practice law in the State of New York and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He also has been admitted to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Federal Courts for the Western, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
He maintains a law practice in Manhattan focused on assisting foreign investors to buy, manage, and sell real estate in New York City, and provides international tax and financial advice to his clients.
In 2004, Mr. Collesano was a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 27th District of New York. He established his practice in New York City and Western New York in 2001 after working in Washington, D.C. as Legislative Counsel to United States Congressman John J. LaFalce (Democrat, 29th Congressional District of New York) and the U.S. House of Representative's Financial Services Committee from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that time, Mr. Collesano practiced as an attorney in Buffalo, New York. In the early 1990s, Michael also worked for the Hang Seng Stock Exchange in Hong Kong, and was one of the first people trained to trade equity options in the market.
He holds an LL.M. degree in International Banking from Boston University School of Law (1996), a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law (1995), and a B.A. in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University (1991).
A native English speaker, he also speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese.
