Maria was born in Senegal, West Africa, and left as a baby for Paris, where she grew up. Twenty-three years ago, she came to New York on vacation for three weeks and never left. Since then, Maria has lived all over Manhattan, from the Upper East Side to Tribeca and Battery Park City, and now the East Village, and she is constantly inspired by the energy buzzing in each neighborhood.

With a background in fashion and teaching, Maria got into real estate to work with a friend. Now, two years later, she can say she has found her passion. Focused, organized, and determined, her top priority is ensuring her clients are satisfied. To her, being an agent is the perfect combination of expressing her love for the city and exercising her skill of working with people from all walks of life.

In her free time, Maria enjoys traveling. She has been to over twenty-five countries, and she loves returning to her favorites. She has a deep appreciation for movies, having previously studied theater, and is also fond of literature and culture in general. She is fluent in French and Wolof.
