Scott Rubén La Marca began his real estate career in small Manhattan brokerage focusing on property management and apartment rentals. With experience in construction management, facilities management, property redevelopment, and property rehabilitation, Scott has been involved in most areas of real estate development. Currently completing his studies at the Pratt Institute School of Architecture for Project Management and Real Estate Development, Scott is ever more involved not only in the corporate atmosphere, but in the academic world as well. Scott seeks to challenge himself through his education and is currently focusing on new LEED structural technologies through which their cost effectiveness and environmental friendly specifications dominate the construction and real estate development world. Additionally, Scott holds OSHA construction safety and health certifications. By the age of eighteen, the age at which Scott was licensed, he was singularly managing over four distinct rental properties in lower east side Manhattan and various units across Queens and Brooklyn. His responsibilities included representing the owner, basic rent collection, supervising hired contractors, plumbers, and superintendents. Indefatigably, Scott was able to resolve issues present under tenants, contracted workers, and landlords through negotiation skills and an assertive and perseverant attitude towards conflict. Scott's attentiveness and innate ability to guide and Council makes him a valuable resource to his clients. His competitive nature drives his desire for perfection and this has served a great deal for his real estate and academic career. Scott currently resides in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and loves the Opera: he considers himself a life-long student of the craft and has always dreamt of becoming an Operatic tenor.
