Originally from Long Island, Brendan has called New York City home for more than 25 years. After studying at the School of Visual Arts, Brendan spent the majority of his early career at Hearst’s syndication unit, King Features, where as an editor and top-level executive he represented and nurtured some of the world’s most cherished comic strip characters and their creators. He is still considered a family member to a broad, but tight-knit community of cartoonists, illustrators and writers. During a five-year stretch freelancing as an editor and consultant in the publishing and entertainment businesses, Brendan enjoyed successes with countless media companies and intellectual property owners. He also co-founded and acted as executive producer for a specialized animation studio. Hungry for a career change, Brendan found his way to the real estate profession, a move that has aligned perfectly with his sensibilities and skills. With a keen eye for aesthetic and design, a deep interest in architecture & interiors and an irrepressible love of New York City living, Brendan has found a wonderful home at Cooper & Cooper.

Brendan is a published cartoonist and writer, and when he’s not filling the pages of his sketchbook, he’s often wandering the galleries of the great New York City museums with his young son.
