Matthew DeFelice takes a down-to-earth, relationship-driven approach to real estate, treating every client the way he'd want his own family treated. He believes the best transactions come from trust, clear communication, and an agent who actually picks up the phone. A Long Island native, Matthew came to real estate through an unusual path. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps, then earned his M.S. in Finance from Hofstra University's Zarb School of Business. From there he spent several years trading derivatives in the digital asset markets, where every position started with intensive research and an honest read on risk. Somewhere along the way he realized those same instincts belonged in the biggest financial decision most people ever make. Growing up in Massapequa, Matthew saw early on what a home really means to a family. It's the block you know by heart and the house your parents worked years to get into. It's the reason neighbors stay put for thirty years instead of chasing something bigger. That's the perspective he brings to every showing. He isn't selling square footage. He's helping someone settle into the place where the next ten years of their life will happen. Matthew is easy to reach and easy to talk to, and he's genuinely good with the numbers. He'll walk a client through what a property is really worth and why it makes sense, so when they're ready to move, they move with confidence.
