With more than 20 years in New York City real estate, Lynn Kaplan combines deep market knowledge, strong negotiating skills, and a discerning eye for a property’s potential. A lifelong New Yorker, she brings a direct, thoughtful approach to helping buyers, sellers, and investors make informed decisions.

Lynn entered residential real estate in 2004 with Brown Harris Stevens, where she was named the firm’s Most Promising Rookie Salesperson of the Year. Since then, she has represented clients throughout Manhattan, building an extensive understanding of its neighborhoods, buildings, and evolving market.

Before real estate, Lynn worked in television and film production, including the Grammy Awards, feature films, commercials, and live and tv comedy production. She spent eight years as a Talent Executive at NBC, booking celebrities and producing segments for "Late Night with Conan O’Brien". Working with high-profile talent and navigating competing priorities in high-pressure environments sharpened her ability to negotiate, anticipate challenges, and keep complex deals moving.

Her background also includes owning and operating a downtown antiques business, which deepened her appreciation for architecture, interiors, and the details that make a home distinctive. That perspective helps her recognize possibilities others may overlook, and assess them with a practical eye.

Direct, persistent, and personally involved, Lynn believes clients deserve candid advice and clear, informed guidance. She tells them what they need to hear, not simply what they want to hear, and brings the same care to identifying a property’s drawbacks as she does to recognizing its strengths. Whether guiding a first purchase, positioning a home for sale, or evaluating an investment, she combines creative thinking with clear-eyed judgment.

Lynn holds a B.A. from Tulane University and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
