Apartment 2A at 305 West 72nd Street is an exquisitely renovated Junior-4 that offers some old world European flair.  The four-room home sports a flexible layout with two full baths and open views across 72nd Street.

305 West 72nd Street is a landmarked co-op located on the north side of 72nd Street between West End Avenue and Riverside Drive, just a half block east of Riverside Park.  Built in 1908, this intimate prewar rises 12 floors and contains 48 apartments.

Apartment 2-A oozes with charm from the moment you cross into the extended foyer.  A series of arched doorways welcome you as the foyer widens into a lovely formal entrance.

Rich architectural detailing extends throughout the apartment, offering a level of pre-war refinement.  Heavy base and crown moldings and dark stained hardwood floors run through the foyer, living room and bedroom.

Stunning floor-to-ceiling casement windows with an ornate exterior iron grille serves as the focal point of the living room.  The windows face south toward 72nd Street and are fully operable.  A built-in window seat creates a perch from which to read or enjoy your morning latte.

The kitchen sports lacquered cabinetry, stone countertops, marble backsplash and stainless-steel appliances.  There is a pass through window into the dining room as well.

The primary bedroom enjoys the same casement windows and grille as the living room. There is a delightful marble en-suite bath with a shower/bath combination and a large operable casement window.

The fourth room, located off the kitchen, can be used as a small dining room, home office or a child’s bedroom. The second bath opens into the hallway.

305 West 72nd Street offers a full-time lobby attendant that doubles as an elevator operator.  Amenities include a common laundry room and bike storage.

The 1, 2 and 3 trains service the neighborhood at 72nd Street as well as the M5 and M57 buses.
