According to New York City records, the median price for an apartment in Brooklyn in the month of June 2023 was $765,444.  The price represents a 7.2% drop from last year’s median of $824,783. The number of sales for June, when compared to 2022, fell dramatically, dropping from 851 to 472 representing a year-over-year decrease of 45%.  

June is the ninth consecutive month that the number of year-over-year sales has dropped in Brooklyn by double digits.  

What exactly does $765,444 get you in Brooklyn?  Or in this case, $761,889.  Let’s take a closer look.
