Unit 11C at 303 E 33rd Street is a convertible two-bedroom featuring your very own private balcony with partial water views of the East River. This high floor oversized one bedroom plus den boasts a large kitchen that would delight any professional chef with a broad peninsula island overlooking the equally large living and dining area. Environmentally conscious touches like bamboo flooring and polished white glass countertops enhance the beauty of the custom cabinets with Bosch and Liebherr appliances. White Bianco Dolomiti marble walls and heated floors complement the floating bamboo vanity and lighted mirror cabinets in the bathroom. Sumptuous morning light fills the bedroom through panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and also includes a generous walk-in-closet. Every closet in this home is outfitted with custom closets throughout. As you enter you are greeted with an entry foyer, a perfect place to add your personal touch. The foyer also includes a large step-in closet perfect for additional storage and a washer/dryer. There is room to grow in this 1,062 square foot home with a separate den that can be used as a home office, guest bedroom or nursery.

This 12-story modern building is constructed of brick, metal, and glass that sets it apart from the average buildings that surround it. Amenities for residents include a sun deck and garden on the 12th-floor rooftop, fitness center, outdoor lounge with fireplace, indoor lounge with large television and dining area, 24-hour doorman and concierge, playroom, and a storage and bike room. The building is thoroughly green, too, as it has received LEED certification.

Located in Murray Hill, the Midtown Manhattan location offers plenty of restaurants and nightlife, as well as equal amounts of quiet. Daytime finds many residents at work, but when the workday is over, bars and cafs fill up. Convenient for commuters, Grand Central Station is not too far from the property. In addition, you are just steps away from Fairway Supermarket, Trader Joes, Loews Kips Bay Theatre, Starbucks, and Duane Reade.

Kips Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

If you take a walk through Kips Bay, which is loosely defined as the area between 23rd street and 34th street and the East River to almost Lexington, you’ll quickly learn it's a hodgepodge of sorts and not as well defined as other neighborhoods in New York City. Some New Yorkers say Kips Bay has an identity crisis because 1st, 2nd, and 3rd avenues are distinctly different from one another as you traverse them. Despite the perceived lack of neighborhood vibe there are others that appreciate its affordability and convenience.

First Avenue is dominated by hospitals and hospital buildings such as NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital to name a few. Second Avenue is a mosaic of convenience stores, fast food joints and nondescript brick buildings. Third Avenue is saturated with small bars and gastropubs and the twenty somethings that patronize them.

No judgement against Kips Bay here. It’s a great neighborhood that is just as much a part of New York City as any other neighborhood. Kips Bay It’s bordered by Murray Hill to the North, Stuyvesant Town and Gramercy Park to the South, and Rose Hill to the West. The neighborhood is partly defined by newer high-rise apartments, brick rowhouses, and former tenement buildings.
