421-A Tax Abatement in Place!

We are excited to announce the opening of 490 Van Buren, of beautiful Stuyvesant Heights. Located on a quiet residential street, 490 Van Buren was developed to emphasize serenity with its sleek modern design.

The building is located within a short walk of the, J/Z/M lines, making your commute to Manhattan a breeze. The neighbourhood has every amenity you would need from an excellent supermarket to nearby shops and restaurants. You will want for nothing living in this well-kept section of Stuyvesant Heights.

Unit 4D is unlike any other 2 bedroom apartment in the entire complex. While all our other 2 bedrooms are winged with separate kitchens, this unit has the bedrooms adjacent with an open kitchen, great for entertaining. It also comes with 2 outdoor spaces, a balcony off of the living room and a balcony in the master bedroom, letting in tons of natural light, with a unique and special experience than any other unit in the building. Besides the 2 balconies, residents also have access to a spacious common roof. The home will impress you with its clean, modern finishes. The living room is deep, made very bright by the location of the balcony. The rooms are spacious with great closets and plenty of natural sunlight in both, but with an airy feeling in the master bedroom because of the balcony. The kitchen comes with plenty of cabinets and countertop space, allowing for the possibility of adding a small dining area adjacent to the ample living room area. The bathroom is equipped with a beautiful soaking tub and marble floors. All units come with their own washer/dryer. In addition, residents can also entertain their guest on the open roof deck, which has views of Manhattan. This home was built with space and comfort in mind and it is easy to see the quality work when you first enter.

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
