If that wasn't enough, this superbly crafted home offers a very rare range of amenities with its own private Garage, an Elevator connecting 5 levels of living space, and Radiant Heat in every room including a snow-melt system in the cobblestone driveway. Flooded with sunlight from oversized windows and featuring custom finishes throughout, this rare property is exceptional in every way!

Enter the main floor through either your private garage or oversized custom front door. The welcoming bluestone foyer invites you to enter an extraordinary open living space with over 10' ceilings, and includes a chef's kitchen with adjacent butler’s pantry, dining and seating areas with open hearth wood-burning fireplace, skylights pouring in natural sunlight and a wall of sliding glass doors opening the entire back of the home to the peaceful backyard.

The kitchen is magnificently appointed with custom Bubinga millwork and quartz countertops. The butler's pantry has incredible storage capacity and there is a cleverly-hidden separate food storage pantry. The rear garden has a bluestone patio, mature plantings, and a fieldstone wall.

The lower level of this home has 11' ceilings and tremendous natural sunlight emanating from a 16' skylight above made of structural glass which serves as the floor of the dining room above. Perfect for creating a home theater, gym, den, children's playroom, this level comes with one of the home’s two full laundry area, powder room and storage.

Two flights (or a short elevator ride!) up the dramatic box-on-box custom staircase, the third floor contains a formal living room with its custom built-ins and wet bar, and a large bedroom/den/library/guest suite with a Carrara marble ensuite full bath and large closet. Upstairs is the home's second laundry area and three full bedrooms including a fantastic Master Suite overlooking the garden. The north facing Master Suite has a generous wall of custom closets and a beautifully appointed Grigio Dolomite marble tub surround, polished Waterworks nickel fixtures and a rain shower with thermostatic controls. Perched on the top floor is an optional second master suite/family room with soaring 12' vaulted ceilings, and expansive north- and south-facing terraces with sweeping Brooklyn views. Boerum Hill | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Boerum Hill is a tiny, quiet, primarily residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. There are broad tree-lined streets that are filled with elegant three and four-story brownstones and townhouses, mostly built between 1840 and 1870. There is a definite family vibe to the neighborhood, but young professionals are moving in, and with them are coming trendy bars to cater to their desire for some measure of nightlife, without having to linger in Manhattan. These new bars and restaurants are being sandwiched in amongst existing shops on both Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street, which are the main commercial areas in Boerum Hill.

Boerum Hill offers a convenient location that is still able to maintain its small-neighborhood feel. Shopkeepers value their customers and remember their regulars. It continues to do what it was designed to do, namely provide small-town living in the very shadow of the big city. Boerum Hill is an easy commute to other parts of the city, making it easy to come home every day to the peace and tranquility of Boerum Hill while commuting to a job anywhere in the city.

The neighborhood is quite walkable and you can take the time to catch up with your neighbors while visiting on their stoops. Shopping on Atlantic Avenue is stress-free with no high pressure. You can meet with friends at any of the many coffee shops and while away pleasant hours in conversation. The dining scene on Smith Street is similarly laid-back. Don’t expect that there will be quite as much to see or do as there is in Manhattan, but there are a decent number of interesting bars and restaurants providing a measure of nightlife. The trade-off is worth it, as Boerum Hill provides a quiet, peaceful place to live and raise a family.
