Property Description for 675 Evergreen Ave

675 Evergreen is a rare opportunity to own a home built by a developer for them and their family to live in- and now the opportunity is being passed on to you. During this home's meticulous renovation, every beam and square inch of the home was revamped. From the moment you gaze upon the handsome brick facade to when you walk in through the imported Argentinian double thick door onto the European wide plank oak floors, you will be taken back from the massive sprung 12 foot ceilings. Follow the open lay out where tons of natural light shines in from both north & south exposures through oversize windows. If that wasn't enough, more light spears through the all glass back wall, encompassing the almost 20 foot chef's kitchen and dining area, overlooking the finished backyard. A backyard sure to impress, filled with picturesque trees and a vertical ivy garden that must be seen to believe. The custom kitchen is equipped with a full stainless steel VIKING appliance package including a vented range hood, dishwasher, dual zone wine fridge, and in- drawer microwave. This, all enclosed in a thick slab of white Carrera quarts with a mirrored matching slab running across the backsplash walls of the kitchen makes for the utmost in style. With 1000 sq ft on each floor there is plenty of options on how utilize the space! Dine behind your custom Carrera countertop island or entertain in the formal dining room before moving over to the sitting area and living room. After the day ends, make your way upstairs, passed the custom oak European staircase that is hung under a massive brilliant skylight. On the top level you will find a full 3 bath, 3 bedroom layout where each bedroom has its own unique en-suite bathroom, and full built-in custom closets. Every bedroom is fit for a California King Size bed with room to spare and each of their en-suite full bathrooms have their own unique flair- built with comfort and style in mind. If all this was not enough the lower level has another unit with separate entrance and its own gas & electric meters perfect for AirBnb, office, or a mother/daughter setup. You will find similar upscale finishes in this 1000sq ft 2Bed/1Bath setup with a great potential to offset your mortgage or collect passive income. This rare opportunity will surely not last, with pictures not doing this home justice - it is TRULY a must see to believe home.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
