Property Description for 1105 Greene Ave

Presenting the new crown jewel in all Bushwick, 1105 Greene Ave is the perfect example of when size, quality renovation, and location meet to create the dream home for any buyer.

Location is impeccable, only 6 min from the J and Z trains on Kosciusko, so commuting to Downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan is a breeze. Also near many other coveted Bushwick shoppes and cafes. Around the corner from infamous Sunrise and Sunsets, and walking distance from Tony's Pizzeria, Hearts Coffee, Little Skips, and a short mile from Roberta's.

Start from the front, a completely redone facade with a mixture of Brazilian wood and brick, you get slapped with modern architecture.

Walk through the front door and your jaw will drop. You will see what seems to be a never ending home as the home measures 18.75 wide and 55 feet deep along all three of its stories, providing almost 3100 SF not including the cellar! These measurements allow for extremely spacious layout and feel which pair perfectly with the large contemporary kitchen.

You will be the one everyone wants to be hosted by. A twelve-foot island, wine cooler, 36 inch cooktop and endless counter space will make cooking and hosting an absolute joy. With large windows along the whole width of the house that lead to deck, as well as being semi attached, tons of natural light comes into the parlor floor.

Move on upstairs and find 3 enormous bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master is breathtaking, large closets, ensuite bath and best of all, a balcony. Sit on this balcony and enjoy the beautiful New York sunsets every night.

The rental unit is a perfect 2 bedroom with some outdoor space, can be easily flexed to a 3 bedroom to help with the mortgage.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
