Property Description for 56 Powers Street, THOUSE

This Williamsburg townhouse is AMAZING!
This completely gut-renovated, four-floor townhouse with both a backyard space AND roof deck offers every convenience and luxury one could want in a home--wood floors, sky-high ceilings, tiled bathrooms, updated appliances and bathrooms, smart house technology, and much more! The front door, which leads into a quaint entry foyer is equipped with a keyless entry, number pad.
The main level of this townhouse offers an open-concept design to maximize the living space. The thing one will notice once they step into this space is the multiple, large windows that floods the area with tons of sunlight. The kitchen includes newly installed, barely used stainless steel and black appliances, and very large windows that overlook the street. Within the kitchen area is a large table that sits eight while leaving ample room to move around comfortably. Off of the kitchen is the living room. The living room includes a large sectional couch, accompanying chairs, coffee table, and an entertainment unit with television. Off of the living room area is the private backyard space. This level was designed with entertaining guests in mind.
Up the exposed stairwell with antique wood steps leads to the second level of this amazing townhouse. On this level one will find the first queen-sized bedroom and a large space that could be used as a living secondary living room or a den/home office setup. Further up the stairwell on the third level is the Master suite. The king-sized bedroom includes en suite bathroom and tons of closet space. Also on this level is the access to the private roof deck which gives unobstructed views right to the Manhattan skyline, as well as views of Williamsburg. Once again, these levels are provided a number of large windows for maximum natural light.
From the main level down the stairwell leads to the fully finished basement. Currently the space is setup as an additional bedroom with private bathroom and closet, separated by a sliding barn door. However, the space can be configured to be a media room, playroom, or just about anything your heart desires. The laundry room is also on this level.
The home is equipped with smart house technology, including the aforementioned keyless entry and remote pads throughout the townhouse which controls lighting, sound, etc. Nearly everything in this spectacular townhouse can be digitally controlled.
Airbnb is allowed.

Williamsburg | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Equal parts family-friendly and millennial haven/nightlife destination, Williamsburg offers the best of all worlds. Whether by night or by day, the ‘Burg has endless options for every type of personality and interest--which has only increasingly become the case after the neighborhood was rezoned in 2005. With the floodgate opened for more varied types of businesses, Williamsburg saw one of the highest rates of development in the past decade than any other part of Brooklyn.

Referred to as “Little Berlin” for its late night and club-oriented nature, Williamsburg works as hard as it plays. Apart from the Clubland concentrated around Wythe Avenue, there is also a slew of offices (like 25 Kent Avenue, a sprawling eight-floor, 500,000-square foot waterfront building) and co-working spaces such as WeWork, The Yard and Green Desk that make it an ideal location for the corporate-, startup- and tech-oriented set.

With more offices setting their sights on this part of Brooklyn, it only makes sense that more people want to live close to where they work. Apart from your average walk-up apartment, W-burg has famously become home to numerous condos along the waterfront that continue to grow and expand in concert with the businesses and corporate hubs that have entered the environment.

Even with its many and undeniable changes, however, Williamsburg remains an arts-friendly community, particularly with regard to music and literature. While DIY spaces have come and gone, certain staples have persisted to become institutions that still provide a place for up and coming musicians to perform. On the literary front, long-standing indie bookstores like Spoonbill and Sugartown and Book Thug Nation have paved the way for others to cross the river, namely McNally Jackson Books.
