Property Description for 320 East 42nd Street, 612

The Woodstock Tower is a pre-war, landmark building that majestically rises high above 42nd street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues. At 32 stories, it is the tallest building, perhaps the grandest, in the Tudor City complex.
Come home to a gut-renovated Studio apartment, with pre-finished bamboo hardwood floors and high beamed ceilings. The bathroom features a deep spa tub with ceramic floor and wall tiles; the kitchen has custom fit appliances from KitchenAid and outfitted with granite counter tops and island.
The perfect opportunity for a first-time homeowner and pied-a-terre. Best of all, residents enjoy electricity, heat and hot water included as part of their monthly maintenance fees.
With Building Amenities:
Friendly staff on duty 24/7, assistance is always available at the front desk to meet resident needs and for security purposes.
The private courtyard garden provides a serene outdoor space for residents and also serves as a venue for building events, such as barbecues during the warmer months.
The gym, located on the Lobby floor, is open 18 hours each day, from 6 am to 11 pm. It is fully equipped and provides a great selection of workout options.
Laundry facilities are also located on the Lobby floor and can be used by residents daily from 7 am to 10 pm.

Tudor City | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Compared to other New York City neighborhoods Tudor City is a bit different. For starters, it's not very big. And technically it's not a neighborhood, it's more along the lines of a residential enclave of Tudor style buildings and parks. Even with the large neon sign boldly exclaiming the enclave's name, Tudor CIty is still a little tricky to find.

Located on the southern edge of Turtle Bay, Tudor City borders Murray Hill and lies on a low cliff which is just east of Second Avenue between 40th and 43rd Street. It overlooks the grounds of the United Nations along First Avenue and the East River beyond.

Tudor City is considered one of the world’s first skyscraper apartment complexes. This was considered a remarkable feat in 1929. Early marketing material, aimed at the middle class, described the development as well-planned, well-built, and well-priced housing. Developer Fred F. Finch designed Tudor City to keep middle class residents in Manhattan as many were fleeing the city for the suburbs.
