Take a VIRTUAL 3D TOUR

Live in the very heart of Lower Manhattan - the dynamic South Street Seaport District - a short 11 block waterfront area of history and culture. As this area is reclaiming its importance as New York’s most charming and oldest neighborhood, more and more demand is seen for condos like this one. Uniquely designed floor-through loft occupies two levels and balances historic character with modern convenience. The welcoming foyer leads you to the spacious chef’s kitchen opening into the family room. The entertainment space is effortlessly cozy with exposed brick walls and wood-burning fireplace. On the opposite side, facing west, you will find the guest bedroom with abundant light and a lovely french door closet. The lower level offers exceptional privacy to a spacious master suite and a second guest bedroom. The master also features a second wood burning fireplace, en-suite bathroom and a room-sized walk in closet with full dressing area. Enjoy your new home at 130 Beekman, a landmarked building on a quiet cobblestone corner of Beekman and Water Streets, with renovated lobby, gracious hallways, elevator, low common charges and the most desirable location. The area attractions include but are not limited to endless restaurants (Westville, Fuku, Hole in The Wall, Trading Post and Augustine) shops, boutiques, and iPic Theater at Fulton Market. The upcoming Pier 17 has plans for a 50,000-square-foot market and Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant. The transportation options are umpteen and a short walk away with A/C/2/3/4/5/J/Z trains at the newly built Fulton Center and a ferry terminal down at Pier 11.

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
