Have a Bed Stuy Summertime fling on your new roof deck, with Empire State building views. Located on the top floor, this 924SF 3BR condo, has 1.5 baths and lofty 10' high ceilings. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, granite countertops and ample cabinet space. There are 2 queen size bedrooms, that can accommodate additional furniture, plus a 3rd BR that is ideal as a guest bedroom or office. A washer/dryer and a storage room come with the unit. The cherry on top is the expansive roof deck, that's larger than most NY city apartments. Celebrate all of the upcoming Summer holidays with your friends. In addition to all of this, the condominium complex has healthy financials and a 421A tax abatement.

Now let's talk about the neighborhood, Bedford Stuyvesant, aka the best neighborhood in Brooklyn. Having lived here for 20 years, can I tell you, I've fallen in love with my beloved Bed Stuy! It's a close knit and culturally rich community with residents that look out for you. There are plenty of restaurants, clothing / home furnishing boutiques and wine bars, within walking distance, specifically along the adjacent Tompkins Avenue corridor. Von King Park is in close proximity, where you can enjoy a free outdoor concert, or a movie, and take your dog to run free. The closest trains are the A, C and G.

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
