4 Bed | 4.5 Bath | 1,950 SQFT

Gross Rent: $6,540
Net Effective Rent: $5,815 (2 months free on 18-month lease)

This stunning black and white minimalist renovation is a truly one-of-a-kind find in Bed-Stuy that seamlessly blends modern design and upscale luxury. Gleaming 5” white oak hardwood floors juxtapose perfectly with ebony parlor level ceilings and staircase which provide balance to an exposed brick accent wall. Spacious bedrooms come complete with ensuite bathrooms—each with radiant floor heating and custom clear glass shower enclosures.

Clean white cabinets, a pure white Caesarstone quartz topped kitchen island, and basket weave white backsplash in the kitchen offer stunning counterpoints to the dark accents and perfectly complement a suite of stainless steel appliances including a 36” gas range + hood and French door fridge and 24” dishwasher. French doors and transom windows on both levels look onto an immaculately finished yard/garden area with irrigation system and 6’ tall horizontal wood fence.

This home's primo location puts it just minutes away from the J and C lines and Saratoga Park, a landmark historic space. Foodies will delight knowing that Bed-Stuy’s first full-service Mexican restaurant with drinks will also be close at hand in addition to other local favorites like Saraghina Brooklyn, Peaches HotHouse, Do or Dine, and SCRATCHbread.

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
