Exquisite 4 bedroom / 4 bathroom and Private Outdoor on Lispenard
46 Lispenard Street is a graceful Second Empire Baroque style,Pre-war Cast Iron building located on the border of Tribeca and Soho. The building, built by Isaac Duckworth in 1866, has been converted into spectacular multi-level homes with modern finishes, soaring ceilings, and grand living and entertaining spaces while keeping historical details like the landmarked facade and oversized windows intact. The building captures the prewar history and vibrant neighborhood, while setting the new standard for creative and luxurious downtown living.
This spectacular three level loft, flooded in natural light, measures 4,500 square feet with 26 foot ceilings from the ground floor. Special floor to ceiling window frosting and a vanishing gallery precipice give this low floor loft the feeling of a soaring penthouse! There is a custom decked backyard with built-in gas and water lines. The kitchen was manufactured by Minotti Cucine in Italy and custom designed for this loft by Voce Di. All the hidden appliances are Gaggenau including convection oven, french door restaurant grade refrigerator and under-counter wine cooler. Added architectural features include wood burning fireplaces, spa quality bathrooms with double Duravit sinks, steel staircases, inset lighting, and exposed brick walls.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
