Property Description for 311 East 11th Street, 4-E

This bright and spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with private outdoor space in an eco-friendly East Village condominium offers convenience and comfort.

Located on a quiet corner at the rear of the building, this 1,162-square-feet home boasts solid white oak hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout the living and dining areas. The white-on-white kitchen is equipped with EuroMobil Italia cabinetry, energy-efficient stainless steel appliances by Bosch and Liebherr, and a long breakfast bar. Outside the wide balcony has unobstructed views of nearby gardens and open sky.

The split layout places bedrooms on opposite sides of the great room. The corner master suite has two exposures, a walk-in closet/dressing and a large en suite bathroom with radiant heat porcelain floors, Zuma bathtub/shower and a linen closet. The second bedroom is equally spacious and positioned near the second full bathroom. Additional features include and in-unit Bosch washer-dryer, hardwired internet, coaxial cable and telephone outlets, central air, quiet Traco windows and custom motorized solar shades.

Village Green is a modern full-service building with a suite of amenities and environmentally conscious features. In fact, it was the first LEED Gold Certified building in the East Village. The HVAC heating and cooling costs are included in the common charges, and the well-insulated building results in low and minimally-fluctuating electricity costs. Residents of the pet-friendly building enjoy a 24-hour doorman; a fitness room with a Peloton bike, massage room and sauna; resident's lounge with pool table; bike storage; package room; and a roof deck. Located within the East Village, with direct access to Greenwich Village, Union Square, Gramercy, NoHo and the Bowery, the building is at the epicenter of the city’s most vibrant and exciting neighborhoods. Here Michelin-starred eateries stand alongside hip lounges, and outdoor spaces are plentiful. Access to transportation is a breeze with 4/5/6, N/Q/R/W and L trains all nearby.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
