Property Description for 57 Reade Street, 7-B

*Investor Unit* Tenant in place.

Situated in one of Tribeca’s premier new condominiums, this downtown residence epitomizes luxury and offers a dynamic living experience. Spanning a generous 1900 square feet, this large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home highlights the building’s finest features: an open floor plan, high ceilings, walls of windows and unique outdoor space. An exquisite palette ready for move in, 7B harmoniously blends practicality and urban chic to create the ideal Tribeca apartment.

Brand new and never before lived in, this triple mint apartment features wide teak flooring throughout, beautiful custom Walnut and marlbe built-ins, and top of the line finishes and appliances. Upgraded with a new lighting scheme with recessed dimmable led and halogens throughout, this spacious residence is truly one of a kind and the biggest on its floor.

Upon entering, you are welcomed by a long gallery foyer and double-door coat closet for guests. The living room enjoys views of the historic Sun Building to the East, a comfortable space accented by floor to ceiling windows, private balcony, and reading/office alcove.

The master bedroom also relishes in morning light from a wall of east-facing windows. Complimented by a large walk-in-closet, the master suite also comes with a 5-piece, en suite master bath with double vanity, Carrera marble tops, Koehler faucets, separate stall shower, and Kohler toilet. The other two bedrooms, also considerable in size, face west with floor-to-ceiling windows and boast large closets and close proximity to full baths—one with double sinks, Carrera marble tops and bathtub, and one with a glass-encased shower, custom lighting and wall of glass.

The open, wraparound kitchen continues the high-end aesthetic with minimalist white cabinetry, new side by side Liberre refrigerators, Carrera tile backsplash, convection oven, in sink disposer and Bosch appliances. Centrally located with a built-in, Ostrich leather banquet dining around the bend, the kitchen is perfect for family and gourmet cooking. Replete with Central AC/heat

Neighbor to only two other residences, 7B is the largest on its floor and captures the essence of Reade57 while maintaining its own custom design. Built in 2011, developed by The John Black Company, and designed by SLCE Architects, LLP, Reade57 enjoys close proximity to SoHo, the Financial District and the Village. With sweeping views of the East and Hudson rivers, city hall park, and the new Gehry building, this full-service condominium includes all the amenities one could wish for: wash/dryer in unit, 24-hr doorman, live-in super, landscaped common terrace, fitness center, bike room, cold storage, pied-a-terre allowed, pets allowed.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
