Property Description for 125 East 10th Street, TH

OURS ALONE
After several short term tenants have occupied this space in 2015 and 2016, the owner is now interested in finding a long term tenant. Recently updated this home is ready for its next occupant. Available either unfurnished or furnished it can also be rented short or long term, with a preference for a long term tenant. This townhouse has a flexible layout it can be setup as a 4 or 5 bedroom residence with 3 bathrooms. Original details dating from 1860 remain in-tact throughout the townhouse. The garden is truly extraordinary. It is a shared space with 123 East 10th Street. The resulting 28 feet wide, 36 foot deep terraced space is one of the largest rear gardens in NYC. If you were to travel back in time to New York City in 1854, it would appear virtually unrecognizable. Yet, arrive at Renwick Triangle, formed by the intersection of Stuyvesant Street and East 10th Street, and it would seem as if time stood still. Of all James Renwick's masterpieces in this corridor 125 East 10th Street stands out for its architectural beauty. Since this townhouse is located in the middle of the St. Mark's Historic District, the extraordinary morning light and tranquility will be forever preserved.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
