Property Description for 46-30 Center Blvd, 1502

This lap-of-luxury 2-BR, 2-bath home sits on the 15th Floor of Long Island City's premier waterfront condo building.

This 1,159 square foot apartment has it all: 10-foot, five-inch ceilings, white oak floors throughout, marble bathrooms, Italian granite countertops, and top-of-the-line appliances by LG, Viking, and Sub Zero.

The View sets the standard for luxury living in New York City's most convenient, most appealing neighborhood. This one-of-a-kind residence features thoughtful design touches such as a built-in 14-bottle wine cooler, and a shower stall and separate soaking tub in the en suite master bathroom.

The bright, light-filled bedrooms easily accommodate King-sized beds. And the oversized closets are smartly outfitted with custom shelves and storage space. Custom touches include ceiling fans in each room, additional lighting in the Master Bedroom and Living Room, dimmers on every switch, and wine racks sufficient to house a generous collection.

Owning at The View includes membership to the Club at 4705 Center Blvd, which features a year-round indoor pool, a manicured roof deck with private-use cabanas and gas grills. The Club also offers a world class gym, spa services, a resident's lounge, billard room, yoga studio, and a screening room for films and events. There is also a children's play room and an event space available for leasing.

Living at The View gives you easy access the best of Long Island City: several waterfront parks; a variety of eateries, bars and restaurants, bars, and lounges; live theater, improv, and stand-up comedy; events and performances at The Gantries, and more.

Manhattan is just a short Uber ride away -- and the MTA is even faster with a five-minute, one-stop subway ride to Grand Central Station, and onward West to Bryant Park and Times Square, which all offer uptown and downtown connections. And because you'll be parkside on the waterfront, don't forget the East River ferries!

To top it off, the building employs a courteous and professional staff, including 24-hour doorman/concierge services, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Last but not least, the tax abatement is in place until September 2027

Long Island City | Queens

Quick Profile

Long Island City, the name does sound a little far away, like it requires a lengthy drive to get to. Think, again. Long Island City, also known as LIC, is nestled in the western corner of Queens along the East River. Midtown Manhattan is closer to Long Island City than it is to downtown Manhattan.

LIC is bordered by Sunnyside to the east, the East River to the west, Astoria to the north, and Newton Creek which separates Queens from Greenpoint Brooklyn to the south.

A once-shabby manufacturing epicenter, the neighborhood is a mix of industrial, commercial and residential. In recent years it’s seen a rise in some seriously cool factors. Populated by young professionals, multi-ethnic immigrants, and hipsters, LIC has a happening nightlife scene, fantastic restaurants (some of them Michelin starred), art museums and galleries. Much of the waterfront access has been redeveloped into sustainable public green spaces with modern design.

Although much of the industrial / manufacturing companies have since left LIC, many still reside there. They tend to co-exist with new residential building development the same way they do in other neighborhoods like Williamsburg and Greenpoint.

Office building developers and business tenants play a vital role in LIC too. It’s considered New York City’s fourth central business district next to Midtown, downtown Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn.

As you traverse the streets of LIC, you’ll notice the change from block to block. Industrial warehouses on one block, a bustling Main Street, followed by a park block with sleek luxury high-rise buildings. It’s all part of the LIC vibe.

For a small neighborhood, the transportation links are excellent. For starters, you just can’t beat living one subway stop from Manhattan (7 train). Other train lines include E, M, R, N, Q, and the G lines. There are also less conventional methods of transportation like the NYC Ferry, which offers three ferry landings. There is no shortage of CitiBike’s in LIC either. Many folks commute to work by way of cycling over the Queensboro Bridge.
