Property Description for 55 Berry Street, 5-D

Welcome home to this luxurious oversized apartment. Step into your new home, and you are immediately greeted with 9’ ceilings, that create a loft-like feel. Say hello to your great, open-kitchen which features a long island that acts as additional counter space and a four person breakfast bar. The kitchen also includes stainless appliances such as a wine fridge, dishwasher, a 6 burner gas range stove and oven plus an upgraded Broan range hood. The large pantry is highlighted with stainless doors. The brushed nickel fixtures and two-light pendant add an additional modern touch. The washer/dryer closet, adjacent to the sub-zero fridge, features a Bosch w/d and additional storage space for your cleaning supplies. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living and dining area. The dining area comfortably fits an 8 person dining table. Enjoy a quiet moment in your living room with impeccable, non obstructive views. The common area and master bedroom are separated by a custom barn door. Walk into the master bedroom, and you will find a calming oasis, that easily fits a king bed, two night stands, a TV counsel plus a side chair. The massive walk in closet/dressing area features custom movable dressers, shelving and hanging rods. Step into your handsome, spacious white marble bathroom that was completely re-invented to feature a huge shower, a frame-less modern shower door, and a vanity that extends into the shower area. (Coming Soon: A suggested floor plan that shows two bathrooms versus the current one). The naturally-lit home office features a large (8’x4’) window that looks into the sunny, bright common area. The home office is currently a second bedroom and comfortable flits a queen size bedroom (a night stand can easily be incorporated), a large dresser, and an ottoman near the entrance. The home office also includes a two door deep closet with overhead storage; there is an additional closet near the kitchen- storage is no issue in this apartment!

Williamsburg | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Equal parts family-friendly and millennial haven/nightlife destination, Williamsburg offers the best of all worlds. Whether by night or by day, the ‘Burg has endless options for every type of personality and interest--which has only increasingly become the case after the neighborhood was rezoned in 2005. With the floodgate opened for more varied types of businesses, Williamsburg saw one of the highest rates of development in the past decade than any other part of Brooklyn.

Referred to as “Little Berlin” for its late night and club-oriented nature, Williamsburg works as hard as it plays. Apart from the Clubland concentrated around Wythe Avenue, there is also a slew of offices (like 25 Kent Avenue, a sprawling eight-floor, 500,000-square foot waterfront building) and co-working spaces such as WeWork, The Yard and Green Desk that make it an ideal location for the corporate-, startup- and tech-oriented set.

With more offices setting their sights on this part of Brooklyn, it only makes sense that more people want to live close to where they work. Apart from your average walk-up apartment, W-burg has famously become home to numerous condos along the waterfront that continue to grow and expand in concert with the businesses and corporate hubs that have entered the environment.

Even with its many and undeniable changes, however, Williamsburg remains an arts-friendly community, particularly with regard to music and literature. While DIY spaces have come and gone, certain staples have persisted to become institutions that still provide a place for up and coming musicians to perform. On the literary front, long-standing indie bookstores like Spoonbill and Sugartown and Book Thug Nation have paved the way for others to cross the river, namely McNally Jackson Books.
