Property Description for 207 East 57th Street, 34-A

ARCHITECTURAL MASTERWORK IN THE SKY! Prepare to be dazzled. This can be delivered vacant or with a 4.7 cap rate and a long-term, pied-a-terre, corporate tenant paying $19,999 per month. This unique, 34th-floor property has the immediate feel of a downtown loft, but has been brilliantly reinterpreted into a state-of-the-art, luxury, boutique, modern, glass condominium in prized Midtown East. The true centerpiece of this amazing home is its dramatic triangular Great Room with expansive floor-to-ceiling walls of glass. The sheer magnitude of these wrap-around windows provide forever views -- all the way north to the George Washington Bridge, south to dazzling Midtown, west across Central Park to New Jersey and east to the 59th Street Bridge, Long Island and beyond! The apartment features soaring 11-foot ceilings, Brazilian walnut floors, an open, gourmet Viking kitchen, three full Waterworks bathrooms, solid core doors throughout, ample closet space, and a washer dryer. The thoughtful layout offers privacy with the master suite on the eastern wing of the apartment, far away from the other two bedrooms. A wall of closets, including a walk-in, windowed closet, in the master bedroom provides amazing storage. The five-fixture master baths with a custom double vanity, separate shower, and an over-sized soaking tub perfectly placed under a picture window with incredible views from which to enjoy. The west wing includes two more large bedrooms, adjacent to the Great Room, one with a full bath en-suite, also offering great closet space and striking iconic city views. Located on a semi-private floor in Place 57, designed by famed architect Ismael Levya, this white glove condominium offers every amenity: a 24-hour concierge housed in a Baccarat crystal lobby, a fully-equipped fitness center, residents' lounge, kids' playroom, private storage, and a gorgeous outdoor patio. All of this... plus centrally located and so close to the best the city has to offer -- including Whole Foods, Equinox, Madison Ave. shopping, Central Park and many of the city's finest restaurants. This is truly a property that must be seen to be fully appreciated.

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
