Property Description for 93 Worth Street, 1006

Extraordinary luxury living in Tribeca. Built in 1924, 93 Worth Street is an impeccably restored and modernized condominium in prime Tribeca, one of New Yorks most vibrant neighborhoods. Renowned architecture firm ODA combined historic integrity with contemporary loft living in this expansive 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2,287-square-foot apartment. An expansive layout with south, west and north exposures creates a stunning living space with 16 oversized custom windows flooding the apartment with light all day long. 10ft ceilings enhance the lofty ambiance, which is further enriched by striking 7-inch-wide white oak plank floors, solid wood doors, patina brass fixtures by Waterworks and other refined finishes to recast the space. Relax and entertain in the dramatic corner living room with a separate family or dining room. Spacious chefs kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and custom cabinetry is sleekly styled. Each bedroom has bright exposures, an en-suite bath and its own walk-in closet. Master bath is luxuriously designed with a double sink vanity, wet room with an enameled cast-iron claw foot tub, and ceiling-mounted rainforest showerhead. There is a private laundry room inside the apartment and a large temperature controlled storage unit which transfers with the apartment. The grand 93 Worth entrance with doorman welcomes residents into a vaulted lobby adorned with perforated Corian panels, inspired by Tribecas rich textile industry history. The lifestyle experience continues with 24/7 concierge, live-in super, fitness center with studio for yoga and personal instructors, panoramic rooftop with grass, pergola and kitchen station, extra-large kids playroom, dog washing station and bicycle storage.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
