Property Description for 25 Tudor City Place, 320

An Enchanting Tudor City Residence... This perfectly situated corner unit is comfortable, elegant, graced with park views, and has a delightful arrangement. It has a simply set up mod & efficient kitchen, a superb walk in closet, and windowed bathroom. Serene and sophisticated, this village settling is a charmer.
Set in the stately and the magnificently designed Cooperative Tudor Tower, this historic Gothic Revival building invites one into an intricately designed facade and a regal lobby with artful stained-glass windows and dark wood accents. The especially convenient location is set on a magically tranquil tree-lined street crosswise from the privately owned Tudor City Park and Garden in an extraordinarily distinctive neighborhood that is faced with stunning sights of the East River from scenic overlooks. This building offers full-time door personnel, an exceptional roof deck with I'll Take Manhattan Views, central laundry, personal and bicycle storage. 25TCP is a totally smoke-free building and although there is a strict no dog policy, cats are welcomed. Electricity is counted in the monthly maintenance. Co-purchasing, parental acquisitions, gifting, guarantors and pied-a-terre's are all permissible and the option to sublet after a one-year term of residency is a comfortable possibility, as is the five out of every ten-year house rule policy. As for fitness-there is a state of the art gymnasium, The Club@5 Tudor City Fitness Center, located just next door, which is available for a discounted monthly subscription. Additionally, on this three-block stretch of Tudor City Place are a dry cleaner, florist, Post Office, grocery, gourmet cafe, steakhouse, convenience store, nail salon, bicycle shop, and two playgrounds. The Midtown office district and vibrant restaurant scene of First and Second Avenues are all neighboring as well as Grand Central Station providing rapid transportation anywhere in New York.
This easy breezy delightful offering is Town & Country at its finest. It would be my pleasure to introduce you.

Tudor City | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Compared to other New York City neighborhoods Tudor City is a bit different. For starters, it's not very big. And technically it's not a neighborhood, it's more along the lines of a residential enclave of Tudor style buildings and parks. Even with the large neon sign boldly exclaiming the enclave's name, Tudor CIty is still a little tricky to find.

Located on the southern edge of Turtle Bay, Tudor City borders Murray Hill and lies on a low cliff which is just east of Second Avenue between 40th and 43rd Street. It overlooks the grounds of the United Nations along First Avenue and the East River beyond.

Tudor City is considered one of the world’s first skyscraper apartment complexes. This was considered a remarkable feat in 1929. Early marketing material, aimed at the middle class, described the development as well-planned, well-built, and well-priced housing. Developer Fred F. Finch designed Tudor City to keep middle class residents in Manhattan as many were fleeing the city for the suburbs.
