Property Description for 10 Prospect Park Southwest, 18

By appt only! Please email [email protected] to schedule a viewing. This absolutely stunning 2-bedroom coop right on Prospect Park is a dream come true for a buyer looking for an elegant and efficient two-bedroom, or a sprawling one bedroom with room to grow. Located on the South side of a quintessential Park pre-war building, you will have sun and quiet all day long, and get to enjoy the convenience of a subway stop on your block (F/G trains), and the park as your own personal playground right outside your door. And if that isnt great enough, bask in the comforts of a designer renovation that you dont have live through, all framed by a bevy of perfectly preserved historic details. Renovated with history AND modernity in mind, this home is the perfect combination of old and new. A stunning and spacious kitchen with classic Carrara hexagonal floor tiles, a huge eating island with granite countertop, custom white wood cabinetry, 42 French door fridge, and custom lighting are framed by plaster walls awash in detailed plaster picture moldings, high ceilings, and one-of-a-kind inlaid wood floors that need to be seen to be appreciated. The bathroom has been transformed with a custom marble tile mural from Artistic Tiles, deep Duravit soaking tub, oversized Duravit rain-head shower, and great storage. The two bedrooms are both spacious and offer customized closets for excellent organization. French doors handsomely separate the living room from the bedrooms and bring in light all day. Building offers a large storage cage in the basement, low maintenance, and convenience to every amenity imaginable including great shops, restaurants, Prospect Park, a Greenmarket, and the movie theatre almost across the street. And dont miss out on the fact that the movie theatre is soon to become the Nighthawk cinema, famed for its artisanal cocktails and dining movie experience. This is a rare and wonderful home with an interior as stunning as the richly amenitized location right outside the front door.

Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
