Property Description for 41-43 Warren Street, 2-FLR

Enter your full-floor condo loft through a keyed elevator into a breathtaking 28’ x 31’ great room featuring over 12’ ceilings. This sprawling, open space has a wood burning fireplace with a limestone mantle and wonderful storage and cabinetry. Northern light streams in through the oversized arched windows across striking Brazilian walnut flooring and a massive dining area offering an abundance of space for entertaining. This 2,625 SF floor plan is both functional and stylish; a custom sliding media cabinet emulates wall art, but also transforms into a full home entertainment system when desired. The open chef’s kitchen features top of the line appliances by Sub-Zero and Viking, as well as a Bosch oven. Stainless steel countertops and open shelving allow for easy food preparation and plentiful kitchen storage, complemented by chrome Grohe finishes. A large kitchen island provides additional, casual kitchen seating. Around the corner is a full bath and a large laundry room with full-sized stacked Electrolux washer/dryer and sink.

Through an adjacent 10’ wide gallery with floor and ceiling custom built-ins and sliding Putnam ladder is a separate wing with three bedrooms, that feels both private but also easily accessible to the rest of the home. The enormous master bedroom echoes the same astonishing over 12’ ceilings and south facing oversized windows. Custom built ins and a desk have been thoughtfully placed along the eastern wall for additional purpose and storage. The en-suite tranquil master bath features a large standing shower, soaking tub, radiant heat flooring and dual vanity with an abundance of counter space. A sizable walk in closet has been fully built out with custom shelving to accommodate even the largest of wardrobes.

The secondary bedroom, also south facing, is so large that it has been temporarily divided into two separate bedrooms using bespoke bookshelves by Casa Kids. These shelves can be easily removed should the next owner decide to revert the residence to the original configuration. A modern en-suite bathroom is designated for this particular room.

The third bedroom currently functions as a media/music/play room and currently accommodates a Queen-sized Murphy bed. The built in storage in this room is phenomenal, consistent with the rest of the apartment.

This home has been appointed with conveniences such as a Virtual Doorman and Central A/C. An 80 SF storage room located in the basement Is deeded with the sale.

41 Warren Street is a double-width prewar boutique Italianate style loft building with fluted cast iron columns comprised of six full floor residences, each accessible by keyed elevator.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
