Property Description for 467 Pacific Street, 7

We will be calling for Highest and Best on Tuesday 5.28.19

Prime Brooklyn Beauty! This two-bedroom, corner apartment has been lovingly renovated to bring it into the modern age, with no detail left out. The thoughtful layout feels spacious, airy and bright.

First, enter through a hallway that houses your Costco “attic” and hides your in-home audio/visual and smart home components. Continue on to the open plan living area with high ceilings, white Ash floors, exposed brick and unobstructed views of the thriving community garden nextdoor. Step into the chef’s kitchen finished with natural quartzite and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, including a Liebherr counter-depth fridge, a Wolf induction stove under a slim Faber vent, a Bosch oven and a Filtrete water system, along with ample storage for all your culinary needs.

Next, relax into the luxurious bathroom, with windowed deep soak tub, dual shower heads, floor-to-ceiling marbled tile, slate flooring with radiant heating and a generous vanity. Inside the surprisingly spacious bathroom you will also find a large closet housing a stacked Bosch washer and dryer and tons of storage space. Finally, down the hall, nestled away from the living area, are two sunny bedrooms, both with ELFA customizable closet fixtures. The master is warmed by exposed brick and comfortably fits a queen sized bed.

This meticulously designed home also boasts a zoned Mitsubishi split system HVAC (1 unit in each room), an immersive seven speaker theater system (installed in-ceiling) plus two more music zones, and Hue lighting with Google voice control to make your 'smart' home life comfortable beyond your imagination.

The location of this stunning home is also convenient in every way. Just one flight up in a sturdy prewar, it is directly adjacent to a playground and gated community garden to grow tomatoes, herbs and peppers for summer dinners al fresco. Just a short 1.5 block walk down the pretty tree-lined street and you are at the Atlantic Avenue hub for immediate access to Manhattan via almost every subway line as well as the LIRR.

The building is just one block off Atlantic Avenue, granting ready access to an eclectic mix of small boutiques, larger stores and excellent restaurants, while also boasting the peace and quiet of historic brownstone Brooklyn--the best of both worlds. It is just steps from Barclays, the BAM cultural district, City Point, 365 Whole Foods, the Apple Store, and Chelsea Piers Fitness Brooklyn, to name a few.

467 Pacific is a very well-established co-op with strong financials. The building is pet-friendly with basement storage available for rent, a bike room, and a laundry room slated for later this year. This apartment is everything you need and more!

Unit 7 is listed by owner/broker.

Boerum Hill | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Boerum Hill is a tiny, quiet, primarily residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. There are broad tree-lined streets that are filled with elegant three and four-story brownstones and townhouses, mostly built between 1840 and 1870. There is a definite family vibe to the neighborhood, but young professionals are moving in, and with them are coming trendy bars to cater to their desire for some measure of nightlife, without having to linger in Manhattan. These new bars and restaurants are being sandwiched in amongst existing shops on both Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street, which are the main commercial areas in Boerum Hill.

Boerum Hill offers a convenient location that is still able to maintain its small-neighborhood feel. Shopkeepers value their customers and remember their regulars. It continues to do what it was designed to do, namely provide small-town living in the very shadow of the big city. Boerum Hill is an easy commute to other parts of the city, making it easy to come home every day to the peace and tranquility of Boerum Hill while commuting to a job anywhere in the city.

The neighborhood is quite walkable and you can take the time to catch up with your neighbors while visiting on their stoops. Shopping on Atlantic Avenue is stress-free with no high pressure. You can meet with friends at any of the many coffee shops and while away pleasant hours in conversation. The dining scene on Smith Street is similarly laid-back. Don’t expect that there will be quite as much to see or do as there is in Manhattan, but there are a decent number of interesting bars and restaurants providing a measure of nightlife. The trade-off is worth it, as Boerum Hill provides a quiet, peaceful place to live and raise a family.
