Property Description for 465 West 23rd Street, 12-K

Don't be fooled ... you should contact me; the resident Broker Specialist in London Terrace Towers for over 22+ years to get the real scoop on this and many other listings in our amazing complex. Wouldn't you love to acquire your very own slice of the "BIG APPLE" in one of the finest co-ops in downtown Manhattan? How about investing in a circa 1930's prewar building that maintains a unlimited subleasing policy post one year of ownership. We invite you to visit this truly handsome high floor, extra-wide Alcove Studio residence (the largest floorplan in the tower), perfectly positioned at the end of the hallway for maximum privacy. This classic in style prewar home is teaming with bright northern light throughout the day. A spacious main room is large enough to accommodate full dining & living room ensembles. Three large double thermal pane casement style windows frame superb aerial views of the beautiful interior gardens with their lush ivy covered walls. You will be thrilled with the extremely efficient windowed kitchen that maximizes storage capabilities and provides all the necessities that one desires to prepare dinners at home or an occasional "cook-in" with friends and family. An authentic prewar bathroom with signature London Terrace black and white mosaic tile flooring, subway tiled walls + deep cast iron soaking tub are features from an era gone by. Here at London Terrace Towers you will find construction that was made to last featuring; 9' +/- beamed ceilings, honey combed concrete walls, hardwood oak plank flooring, and original 1930's steel frame doorways. The Wright Fit; a premier health club operator is located in our state of the art health facility. We also have access to an indoor garage (separate fee applies, not part of Co-op), resident only lushly planted and fully furnished roof deck, 24 hour lobby attendants, Live-in Superintendent, 24 hour porters and bike rooms. Pets are welcome too. We are directly across from the High Line Park entrance on 23rd and 10th Avenue and a few blocks away from the Hudson River, Chelsea Piers, Chelsea Market and Hudson Yards. As we know in the real estate business: location, location, location is what truly counts when investing in Real Estate. We have the location... all we need is you.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
