Unfurnished Apartment #1111, Available Immediately upon Condo Board approval.(Condo Fees and Condo Board approval is required, inquiry) . Minimum 2 year lease, no broker fee.

Distinguishing this loft from others in the building is a high level of finish and open views to the north and south. Many units in this building have had the southern views blocked by new construction; but not this one!

This elegant 2 bedroom 2bath duplex loft in The Silk Building in the heart of NoHo. With 11ft ceilings and 1,200 SF of sun-drenched space over 2 floors, this 10/11th floor condo home was recently renovated to a high standard; the kitchen is outfitted with a Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher/microwave. There is hardwood flooring and halogen lighting throughout, and open city views through 7 large windows facing both North & South, which, together with lofted ceilings and oversized sliding doors add to the volume and sense of spaciousness. This home has the most windows, best views, and highest grade finishes of any comparable unit in the building. Additional storage include a large space above the master bath, and additional storage unit included in the basement.

For those unfamiliar with The Silk Building, it was built in 1908 and converted to a condo in 1987.Home over the years to many celebrities, it is a white glove serviced building with a 24hr doorman, full-time super, and laundry on each floor, wood-burning fireplaces, and a gorgeous roof deck with unobstructed South-facing views of lower Manhattan. Centrally located between Broadway & Lafayette, one of the most convenient -and hip- downtown addresses. Near station: 6, B, D, F, M, N, R, W.

Greenwich Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Birthplace of beatniks, Greenwich Village has always been a neighborhood bursting with creativity, home to artists, poets, musicians and writers. There is a lot of foot traffic in the neighborhood, as it gives convenient access to many other neighborhoods. There are a lot of popular eateries on MacDougal Street and bars on Bleecker Street. The neighborhood has a bit of a college-town feel, due to the presence of NYU. There aren’t large chain stores here, so it isn’t really a mecca for shopaholics, but you can find interesting vintage stores and specialty boutiques.

Available housing is centered on pre-war walk-ups. You can find good deals on the quieter, tree-lined side streets, as opposed to the bustling avenues. There are pockets of brownstones and townhouses, some dating back to the early 19th century, throughout the neighborhood, as well. You will find more luxurious housing in the newer high-rise buildings on Park and Fifth Avenues.

Washington Square Park is the heart of the neighborhood. If you sit near the Arch and close your eyes, you might catch an echo of the music and social history of the Park, floating through the air. Greats like Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon started their storied careers right here in Greenwich Village. Today, the Village is a celebration of diversity, where everyone is welcome.
