Property Description for 41 East 28th Street, 7-A

OUTDOOR URBAN OASIS! It's here! A spacious, 2-Bedroom, 1 ½-Bath home with gigantic private roof terrace in the center of the HOT Nomad neighborhood! Don't miss out on seeing this rarely available, special home. Ideal for entertaining, this spacious and comfortable home is in excellent condition and has everything you are looking for. The large, cook's kitchen offers ample counter-space and storage and features stainless steel appliances and industrial chic metal cabinets. The kitchen is open to the south-facing living room with dramatic, oversized windows that stretch the whole width of the room, nearly floor to ceiling. The split-bedroom layout offers privacy and separation between the master bedroom and second bedroom. The generous master bedroom is a corner room with both eastern and southern exposures for a cheerful and airy feeling. Enjoy having your own impressive dressing room and a luxuriously large master bath with marble vanity, Jacuzzi tub and separate standing shower. The sweet, second bedroom is also south-facing, has a deep closet, and makes an ideal child's or guest room. There is even a bonus room, which is a flexible space that works well as an office or cozy den but could also be opened up to the kitchen and living room to create a larger, more formal dining area. Carefully designed with beautiful hardwood floors, central air conditioning, your own washer/dryer and multi-zoned, surround-sound speakers make this apartment both practical and pampering. Finally, step out onto a truly incredible private roof deck that will be the envy of all your friends! Relax in the sun, plant your own herb garden, enjoy dining al fresco, or people-watch from afar. There is also the potential to build a third bedroom with board approval that could open out onto the terrace, creating more interior square footage. You can truly have it all in NOMAD at 41 East 28th Street perfectly located between Park and Madison, one block from the Gansevoort, Breslin Gastropub and The Nomad hotel. This well-maintained boutique coop is recently renovated with video security, bike storage, common laundry and excellent Superintendent.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
