Property Description for 210 East 5th Street, 3-FLR

BEETHOVEN HALL.... LIKE NOTHING YOU'VE SEEN BEFORE Situated on East 5th Street just off the Bowery, this unassuming 4 unit condo in an East Village historic building dates back to 1860. Words can not do justice what lies beyond the key locked elevator on the 3rd floor. Upon entry into this simply incredible jaw dropping floor thru apt you are greeted with over 6750 sq ft of living space which includes a great room measuring 47'x35' with 32' ceilings, exposed brick, and a vaulted arched ceiling. Outstandingly unique, there is quite simply nothing else like this in Manhattan. Architecture persevered and tastefully kept throughout renovations including brick archways and a solarium in the kitchen dining area that opens to a private outdoor terrace. Floor to ceiling double paned city windows keep away the sound of the hustle and bustle of NYC. Currently configured as a 4 bed 3.5 bath plus loft, laundry room, eat-in-kitchen and media room. Grand master bedroom suite with Spa-like marble bathroom including deep soaking tub, separate shower and double sinks along with an oversized walk-in closet.Beethoven Hall is a place where history lives on. From playing important roles in the women's rights movement to a meeting with the American Bowling Congress standardizing rules for the game of bowling. This unique condominium is one of a kind not only from the rich architecture but throughout the conservation of history. It was used for a set stage for Jackie Gleason's "The Honeymooners" as well as Robert De Niros Raging Bull. This is a unique four unit condominium with history, and amazing architecture that can't be missed!

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
