Property Description for 43-45 East 30th Street, PH-B

Entry Level
Designed for grand entertaining and breathtaking views, this 6,387 sq. ft., 4-story home (4,412 interior sq. ft and 1,975 sq. ft exterior) is known for its Midtown brilliance. As you walk into the grand entry foyer of this apartment, you are greeted with custom brass stairway banisters, a private elevator and elegant furnishings, setting the stage for the beauty before you.

Floor One
The main floor establishes the attention to detail that is present throughout this exquisite home. As you step into the living room, sunlight streams through the space from the floor to ceiling windows and you instinctively admire the garden outside on the terrace. Solid Brazilian cherry wood floors, a detailed Mahogany accent wall, high-definition projector and screen, as well as a custom built bar made with black lacquer and exquisite green marble are some of the features worth noting in this grand living space. The centerpiece of the inviting dining room is a French-Deco Mahogany table and leads to a Chef's dream kitchen expertly equipped with top of the line appliances, a custom wine fridge, Glassos counter tops and an oversized white marble island. Off of the kitchen, you can enjoy the private outdoor seating area and entertainment space.

Floor Two
This entire floor is designed as a master suite making this area hard to leave in the morning. The large sitting room connects the two sides of the floor creating a seamless flow from room to room. The expansive master bedroom offers an abundance of natural light and is surrounded by de Gournay gold-leafed hand painted wallpaper. The master bedroom also includes various oversized windows, a washer/dryer, ample custom closets and a powder room just steps from your bedside. As you walk through the sitting room admiring the cityscape through the windows, you are greeted to two large custom walk-in closets. With custom lighting, Sonos speakers, built-in shelves, wall-to-wall space for a dozen wardrobes or more and unparalleled views, this could be one of your favorite features in the apartment! The master bathroom is just beyond the walk-in closets and is of unmatched quality in the City. The centerpiece is an oversized soaking tub with skylight above and features custom Waterworks brass fixtures resembling a spa retreat. The bathroom incorporates dual marble sinks, Greenhouse ceilings, rain shower, white lacquered custom cabinets and hand-picked tile flooring. The bathroom terrace will surprise you with the refreshing resistance swimming pool and the Empire State Building views that seem almost touchable from the water's edge.

Floor Three and Four
The third floor has two dedicated outdoor terraces, a second master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and balcony, as well a third bedroom currently purposed as a study. When you reach the third floor it reinforces how much thought and care went into this three year multi-million dollar renovation. The fun and lively décor flows perfectly as you navigate the apartment but each room has its own individual style and personality. The magic of this apartment is evident in all the consideration every detail has received. The top floor encompasses a petite powder room but is almost entirely devoted to the 1,000+ sq. ft. outdoor terrace. The sensational outdoor space is large enough to host a dinner party and features an outdoor bar, fire-pit perfect for breezy summer nights and the most dramatic Chrysler and Empire State Building views found in Midtown. Relish in the hours spent outdoors in the seven outdoor terraces.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
