Property Description for 432 Park Ave, 62-B

A 30-second elevator ride whisks you above the city into your private vestibule. Flooded with light from the very moment that you enter the apartment 62B occupies the western half 62nd Floor of the city's tallest residential building. This three bedroom plus library home spans 4,019 square feet featuring 12'6 ceilings throughout and 10' X 10' windows in every room.

The living and dining room provide Northern and Western exposure with spectacular views of Central Park, The Hudson River and the East River. Off the living room is the chef's kitchen with windowed breakfast bar overlooking Central Park and past the GW Bridge. Top of the line finishes include white lacquer and natural oak cabinetry, Miele stainless steel appliances, Dornbracht fixtures, marble countertops and floors.

The library, which can be converted into a fourth bedroom features a Western exposure with stunning views of Midtown. There are two entrances to the master suite which connect to the two generously proportioned bathrooms fitted in book-matched slabs of Italian statuario marble with a freestanding soaking tub, cubic marble vanities with 22' oval sinks, and radiant heated floors. The bathroom views are arguably the best that New York City has to offer. Last but not least an oversized walk-in closet completes the master suite.

The unobstructed views continue throughout all of the bedrooms - overlooking The Empire State building, Chrysler building, East River and all that is within eyesight of Southern and Western exposures. The remaining two bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms. A powder room and private laundry complete the home.

Located on Park Avenue between 56th and 57th Streets, 432 Park Avenue is the tallest residential tower in the Western Hemisphere. Designed by Rafael Vinoly, this extraordinary 96-story tower rises 1,396 feet and redefines the Manhattan skyline. The amenities include a private restaurant, lounge, outdoor garden, 75-foot indoor swimming pool, fitness center, yoga studio, spa, library, billiards room, screening / performance venue, conference room, children's playroom and parking garage and motor court.

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
