Property Description for 1458 Fulton Street, 3

One look at this gut-renovated apartment and you'll know you've found your new home!
This completely updated unit is on the third floor of a newly refurbished walk-up in prime Bed-Stuy. Having just received a total makeover, you'll be impressed with the custom finishes and creature comforts that fill the floor-through home.
At the center of the apartment, which features 10' ceilings and no upstairs neighbors, is the open concept great room, with a beautiful kitchen and ample space for a living and dining room.
The kitchen boasts state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, including your own dishwasher, contemporary custom cabinets, and ample granite countertop space--courtesy of the kitchen peninsula.
The great room is flooded with light from the two large western exposures and the hardwood floors are also illuminated by numerous recessed lights--this place filled with light!
On either end of the apartment are the king-sized bedrooms, which each have three windows of either southern or northern light and keep the rooms well-lit throughout the day. The bedrooms also feature huge double-wide floor-to-ceiling closets.
The bathroom is outfitted with beautiful ceramic and mosaic glass tile and has a European shower system.
The apartment has a large storage closet that has a washer/dryer hookup so you'll never have to lug your dirty laundry up and down those stairs. The apartment has central heat and air to keep you comfortable all year 'round. This home even comes with (shared) private outdoor space!
This wonderful home is located around the corner from the C train at Kingston-Throop and two short blocks to the express A at Nostrand Avenue--which gets you to Manhattan in 10 minutes. Dogs and cats are both welcome. The apartment is completely cable & internet ready.

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
