Property Description for 181A Rogers Ave, 2

Not one detail overlooked!! Brand new remodeled 3 Bed, 2.5 Bath duplex with 2 private outdoor spaces in Prime Crown Heights.

In a word? Stunning! 181A Rogers Avenue has all the details coveted by today's sophisticated renters. The sprawling open Parlor floor with soaring ceilings greets visitors with a breadth of hardwood leading directly to the first floor balcony overlooking the manicured garden below. Along the way you'll pass your fully equipped, thoroughly modern Chef's kitchen featuring a professional grade 6 burner, 36" range, double wide refrigerator, Sharp roll out drawer microwave, expanses of Marble Countertops, Shaker Style hardwood cabinets, a large paneled island plus a two zone wine cooler. And for your convenience, a custom marble half bath with Halo bar lights that mimic the circular mosaic flooring -- a truly unique touch and a benefit most prewar homes don't have.

Upstairs is more of the same high quality work: Three bedrooms, two baths, and the Master Suite is something to behold. Easily accommodating a King-sized bedroom set, your two sided walk-through closet leads to the en suite bathroom featuring an oversized glass & marble shower and a custom mirrored vanity with matching countertop. But the real gem of the building? The 32 Bocci Ball pendant lights hanging in the stairwell that will remind you of a starry night, guiding you up stairs, leading to your own Private Roof Deck and the actual starry skies.

Other amenities include dual zone Central Heat and Air, Washer & Dryer, brand Pella Architectural series dual pane windows throughout for the ultimate in comfort control, pre-wired for full house stereo speaker systems and much, much more.

The location itself is perfect: Crown Heights has become the go to neighborhood in Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Gardens are a short stroll. The Brooklyn Children's Museum, which draws families from all the boroughs, is 5 blocks away and an interactive must for rambunctious little ones needing to move and learn. The list of restaurants is endless, the explosion of fine dining and cafes includes Manhattanville Coffee Bar (located 4 doors down) Bar Corvo, Mayfield, Catfish, Silver Rice, Glenda's Home Cooking -- all these and more are within a 7 block radius. Those wishing to make their own meals can visit the Grand Army Plaza Green Market every Saturday. Originating in 1989, it has grown to be second only to Union Square in size: organic and locally sourced farm fresh goods are offered, artisanal baked goods are available, and there are always different programs and cooking demonstrations going on.

Transportation is ultra-convenient as well, the Franklin Ave/Botanic Garden stop has the 2, 3, 4, 5 and S shuttle so getting to either the East or West side of Manhattan is quick and easy.

Even the professional photos don't do it justice; you need to see it for yourself to believe it.

Crown Heights | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Originally known as Crown Hill by the Lenape Indians that lived there, Crown Heights has evolved into a diverse neighborhood, occupied primarily by Hasidic Jews and one of the largest Caribbean populations to be found anywhere outside of the West Indies.

Head over to Nostrand Avenue, one of the main West Indian commercial areas in the neighborhood, which is lined with stores that have been in those exact same places for generations, providing their goods and services to area residents. Kingston Avenue has similar commercial activities that support the Jewish community, and Franklin Avenue shows the most signs of change and gentrification, with an ever-expanding mix of yoga studios, coffee shops, and organic grocery stores that serve the influx of young professionals. No matter which of these areas you visit, you will find an interesting mix of businesses that you wouldn’t normally picture as existing side-by-side. It is all part of the cultural diversity of Crown Heights.

The neighborhood is bisected, from east to west, by Eastern Parkway, which is a beautiful, 3-mile-long boulevard lined with mature trees. This leafy oasis was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, famed designer of Central Park, the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, and the U. S. Capitol in Washington, D. C.

You will find a mix of low-rise apartment buildings, large middle-class elevator buildings, brownstones, and some luxury buildings. Century-old architecture stands next to modern residential developments in a visually interesting mix of styles, much as the diversity of the residents exists. People who would not normally meet and mix are forging new pathways to cultural understanding by working, living, and playing together in the same neighborhood.
