*** Sponsor pays transfer taxes on full ask offers for contracts signed by July 30th 2019***

Introducing 1009 Hancock Street, a new boutique Condo Development consisting of one (1BD) and two bedroom (2BD) homes. Located just one block from the Halsey Street stop of the J train in burgeoning Bushwick, the building offers an array of one-bedroom floorplans and private outdoor spaces are available in all but one of these special homes. Efficient floor plans that maximize every square foot are a hallmark of the apartments at 1009 Hancock.

Apartment 4R is an over-sized 928 sqft two (2bd) bedroom, one-and-a-half (1.5 bt) bath featuring ten-foot ceilings and two sets of private outdoor space: a private balcony off of the living room and a private 786 sqft roof terrace.

Each home in this ground-up new construction has been thoughtfully imagined and designed with today's buyer in mind. Bathrooms were thoughtfully designed with the unique spa culture seen in Japan as inspiration. Finished with tiles in warm earth tones and serene accents as well as Brazilian-style rain showers. The kitchens feature a Bosch appliance package which includes a dishwasher and microwave, quartz counters and elegant wood cabinets providing plenty of kitchen storage. All residences are equipped with Mitsubishi ductless mini-split Systems for quiet, energy-efficient heating and cooling, and a W/D.

Local favorites include: Maite, Mominette, Arepera Guacuco, Momo Sushi, Juno, Dweebs, Bossa Nova Civic Club, El Cortez, X Marks the Loft Syndicated Bar Theater Kitchen, Foster Sundry, Dillinger's, Roberta's, Sunrise/ Sunset, Hard Times Christmas Liquors at the Sunset Bar, and a new BK outpost of the famed Mission Chinese and many more. Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
