Property Description for 210 East 11th Street, C

This is the quintessential NYC apartment of your dreams and it is now available to rent. In fact, it has been featured in numerous television and film shoots because of its charm and characteristics, including “Broad City,” “Younger,” “Landline,” and “Smash”.

This enormous true two-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment is on the entire second floor of a five-unit townhouse. The expansive living room features exposed bricks and two large picturesque windows that face south to a charming and verdant courtyard with beautiful buildings across the expansive way. The north-facing bedrooms are separated from the oversized living room and newly renovated kitchen—with a breakfast bar and pantry!—by a long hallway, where you’ll find both bathrooms, recently renovated. Other apartment features include a wood-burning fireplace, original wide-plank hardwood floors, an abundance of storage and closets, a dishwasher, and a washer-dryer.

Centrally located on a quaint, tree-lined street in a townhouse from the 1860s that has been loving renovated. Union Square subway station and park are less than five minutes walk away. Washington Square Park and Tompkins Square are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Westside Market is around the corner, Trader Joe’s is a three minute walk away, as is the 3rd Avenue L train and lots of amazing restaurants, bars, and shops are at your fingertips. The owners live in the building on the bottom two floors. Pets welcome, as long as they know how to behave.
The apartment can come fully furnished for an additional fee.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
