Property Description for 11 Beach Street, 2-D

Dramatic and spectacular New Development 5 Bedroom 4.5 Bath condo loft home in the newest premier doorman building in the heart of historic Tribeca. This impeccable corner loft home has never been lived in. Enter this home directly from the elevator into a large foyer that leads to the expansive corner living/dining room with incredibly high 11- 12ft ceilings with Southern and Eastern massive windows that overlook the tranquil green space of Tribeca Park. Adjacent to the sprawling living room there is a 5th bedroom and bathroom (or den/office/play-room). The stunning enormous open windowed kitchen overlooks the living room and has been custom fitted with waterfall style marble center island and matching counters, elegant cerused oak custom cabinetry and pantry, top-of-the-line appliances by Miele and Sub-Zero including side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, dual wall ovens and warming drawers, two dishwashers, a full size wine cooler, and built in cook top with a hood that vents to the outside.

Down the bedroom hall you will find three well-proportioned bedrooms with abundant closet space and 2 full baths. At the end of the hall you will find the master bedroom with unbelievable closets and an enormous 5 fixtured bath with Walter Zanger marble and stone, dual sinks, private water closet, and separate shower and a soaking tub with fittings by Dombracht and Waterworks.

This home has generous room proportions throughout, ceiling heights as high as 12ft, 8" hardwood oak floors, central HVAC, and a separate laundry room. This apartment is a comparable elevation to a 3rd floor in another building because of the high ceilings of the lower part of the building. This iconic building features a breathtaking lobby with a glass pyramid skylight perched over the terra cotta-clad inner courtyard which illuminates the lower amenity level where the gym and children's playroom will be located. This prime location building is in the heart of Tribeca, steps from Soho, all subway lines.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
