Property Description for 45 Park Place, 21-W

The definitive new address for downtown New York. 45 Park Place is a limited collection of contemporary Loft and Tower Residences in an elegant, soaring, sculptural glass building by SOMA Architects at the intersection of historic Tribeca and The New Downtown.

Apartment 21W, a 1565 SF sun-filled two bedroom two and a half bath home with South and West facing corner Great Room, is reflective of the artistic heritage of Tribeca with an expansive 11 foot ceiling height, floor to ceiling glass walls, concrete columns and select grade white oak wood flooring.

Styled by Piero Lissoni, the Italian engineered kitchens combine craftsmanship with ingenuity. Providing a sleekly designed backdrop for epicurean activity, signature elements include full height white matte lacquered cabinetry, kitchen islands with white Corian countertops and sides, Italian made Stainless Steel faucet fixtures by Fantini, top-of-the-line integrated Gaggenau appliances and featuring a spectacular vented Boffi hood with suspended glass shelf.

The Master suite has a huge walk-in-closet with en suite bath clad in Italian textured White Carrara RAW marble, radiant-heated floors of honed Italian White Carrara marble, Stonage Bathtub, Fantini tapware, and vanity by Italian custom manufacturer MOMA design.

45 Park Place is an inspirational canvas for the first New York commission of global tastemaker Piero Lissoni; the development also encompasses a plaza and cultural center conceived by Jean Nouvel. The fifty homes are enhanced by three levels of impeccably curated amenities, including full concierge services, a stunning 50-foot pool and spa, state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, private residents' lounge, and children's playroom.

The Loft Residences offer a collection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes. Starting on the 24th floor, the Tower Residences are full-floor three and four bedrooms dramatically showcasing cinematic 360-degree views of the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade Center, New York Harbor, and the Empire State Building. 45 Park Place is crowned by two signature penthouse duplexes featuring undulating sculptural staircases that are true Lissoni originals.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
