Property Description for 39 East 29th Street, 24-B

INVESTORS, PRIMARY, and SECONDARY HOME BUYERS. Welcome to your sky palace on the 24th floor. A wall of windows and stunning downtown views greet you upon entry. Light and air define the experience of this one-bedroom home, with streaming southern light all day. The expansive, open-plan living space offers everything the modern entertainer (or homebody chef) could desire. Measuring 17'7" x 15'6", non-inclusive of the large kitchen, the living space could accommodate multiple seating areas and/or a full harvest-style dining area--unique amongst the more efficient layouts that dominate the current one-bedroom market.

This home checks every box of an elite lifestyle in NOMAD Manhattan--dramatic living space, high-end timeless finishes, ideal location, amenities, and service. The REMARKABLE COMMON ROOFTOP with breathtaking 360-degree, Empire State views deserves an early highlight, as the crown-jewel of the building and of your future New York life. Imagine. An outdoor shower, four barbecue grills, refrigeration, and running water PLUS cabana-beds, multiple custom pergolas, and beautiful wood furnishings make this building amenity a true and rare luxury.

Perfect for PRIMARY RESIDENCE BUYERS or INVESTORS. The unit can be delivered vacant or with tenant in-place; please inquire with the listing agent for current lease terms.

THE UNIT

The gourmet CHEF'S KITCHEN is outfitted with Crystal White countertops, Wenge wood cabinetry (rare hardwood), a paneled Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Thermador oven and cooktop, and a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. Teak wood floors throughout the home offer both beauty and durability. In the generously sized bathroom, a Wenge wood vanity, Crystal White countertops, a deep soaking tub, and white limestone floors come together in clean elegance. You will also find a DOUBLE VANITY, a rare feature for one-bedrooms. The stackable Bosch WASHER/DRYER, WALK-IN CLOSET, and CENTRAL AIR system complete this awesome one-bedroom home.

THE BUILDING

Warm opulence and sleek modern design characterize every aspect of Twenty9th Park Madison, from the dramatic double-height cubed glass entrance, to the beautifully furnished lobby-lounge clad in limestone and rimmed by rich zebra wood bookcases, to the rooftop sundeck. This pet-friendly condominium is fully staffed, with onsite doormen, porters, and live-in super. Off the lobby, hidden discretely behind glazed glass doors, you will find a state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga room. Cold-storage for food delivery, a resident lounge with espresso bar, direct access to a parking garage, and of course, the spectacular rooftop sun terrace deserve mention.

Now is the time to buy in one of New York's best ESTABLISHED buildings. High-floor one-bedrooms are a dwindling commodity in today's market, with the newest developments offering mostly larger, more expensive units on the high floors. The developer and designer team of Twenty9th Park Madison chose timeless, pristine finishes in both the units and common areas throughout the building. Their high-end choices, in combination with an ideal amenity and service package, have helped establish Twenty9th Park Madison as one of the most in-demand buildings in NOMAD, and in Manhattan. It is buildings like this, in combination with an exploding restaurant and nightlife scene, that have driven the rise of NOMAD as one of Manhattan's most desirable neighborhoods.

THE LOCATION

Enviably situated on one the best NOMAD blocks between Madison and Park Avenue, Twenty9th Park Madison is set back from the busy avenues. A mid-block entrance and a towering glass facade are a rare combination. You get it all here.

NOMAD (North of Madison Square Park) offers the city's best restaurants, nightlife, hotels, and shopping, all in the center of Manhattan. Pop across the street for a poolside afternoon on the roof of the luxurious Royalton Park Avenue hotel; explore the shops of lower Fifth Avenue; or, laze in the park. The Royalton is just one of the many designer boutique hotels that populate this area--the Nomad, the James, and the Arlo to name a few more. A couple of blocks south, Madison Square Park offers green respite, with regular art installations and the original Shake Shack. The famous Eataly and the award-winning, three Michelin Star, Eleven Madison Park are both within easy walking distance, and those notable restaurants are just two of the many great experiences to be had in the area. You get the idea.

NOMAD offers easy access to every major train line in the city. You are just one block for the 6 train at 28th and Park Ave.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
