GORGEOUS RIVER, PARK AND TREE-LINE VIEW. Description GUT RENOVATED 3BR/2BATH IN THE COVETED HISTORICAL DISTRICT! SOUTH FACING WITH VIEWS OF THE JUMEL MANSION AND HIGH BRIDGE PARK. This is a PHENOMENAL 3BR (the only 3BR to come up in the building in 4+ years) facing highbridge park with 2BATHS, two queen size plus bedrooms, a third full size bedroom (not small by any means) bedroom and a massive living room/kitchen combo with 4 large windows all facing the park. Behind the kitchen is a corner bedroom facing the Jumel mansion and the park. east and south exposure. High-End Finishes (marble counter tops, S.S. appliances) Marble Bathroom Great Closet Space South Facing (ideal exposure for great natural sunlight) Hardwood floors ALL 3 Queen-size PLUS Bedrooms Elevator/Laundry Building Live-In EXCELLENT Superintendent and crew. **ONLY A HALF A BLOCK To The 163rd Street C train. This train station has recently had a full renovation completed!! Also there is a C-Town supermarket which just got a full renovation and upgrade. It's only a 20 minute commute to Columbus Circle. I've lived in the building next door for 4 years. This location is ideal for Uptown! It's literally on Highbridge Park and across the street is the Jumel Mansion which keeps it's beautiful landscaped gardens open to the public. Perfect for reading a book, throwing a Frisbee, a picnic, or any other relaxing thing you can think to do. It is very private and rarely draws a crowd. NOTE: There are so many great things about this area including a New Super Food Town that just opened on West 160th and Broadway just 4 blocks away (2 blocks and 1 Avenue). But too many good things to keep your attention. I'll be happy to discuss others at a viewing. Email Adam anytime, call or text between 8AM-11PM to schedule a viewing.

Washington Heights | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Washington Heights, a hilly neighborhood on Manhattan’s northern tip known for its affordable apartments, preserved pre-war buildings, and Dominican food. Some would argue that it's a hidden gem and one of Manhattan's last neighborhoods that has retained its culture. The large swath of land is bordered by Inwood to the north along Dyckman Street, by Harlem to the South along 155th Street, by the Harlem River to the east, and the Hudson River to the West. It is the highest natural point on the Island of Manhattan.

Despite its high residential density, Washington Heights and Inwood have not seen modern housing construction in more than a decade other than relatively small housing units. Midtown Manhattan, Battery Park, TriBeCa, Chelsea, and Hell’s Kitchen, on the other hand, have seen an increase in building. Most of the high rise construction belongs to hospitals such as New York Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center, and educational institutions like Yeshiva University and Boricua College.

Washington Heights has access to amazing green spaces like The Cloisters, Fort Washington Park, Highbridge Park and Fort Tryon Park. There is no shortage of historical landmarks either. Remember General George Washington set up his camp in Washington Heights during the Revolutionary War. He used the elevated neighborhood to his tactical advantage to spot the Redcoats. As history would have it, his plan didn’t work out so well and the British occupied New York for seven years.
